About 1 of Every 100 Older Americans Has died from COVID

As the coronavirus pandemic approaches the end of a second year, the United States stands on the cusp of surpassing 800,000 deaths from the virus, and no group has suffered more than older Americans. All along, older people have been known to be more vulnerable, but the scale of loss is only now coming into full view.

The United States passed another grim Covid-19 milestone Monday, as more than 800,000 Americans have now died from the virus that's plagued the country for nearly two years.

Pennslvania Supreme Court rules against state's overall COVID-19 mask requirements for students/

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled Friday that the state's COVID-19 mask requirement for schools is not valid and was imposed without legal authorization. The order covered all students and teachers in K-12 schools and child care centers in the state.
